DIMENSIONS OF FAITH
Mixed age couples and singles studying the Bible, sharing Christian
beliefs and discussing issues regarding a personal faith walk. Dimensions
of Faith is involved in missions thorugh adopting families in need,
supporting Disaster Relief, Room in the Inn, Bless the Children, and donating
to various needs of our congregation. The class enjoys several social
gatherings as well as an annual family Christmas party. Dimensions

DISCUSSION
Adults of all ages sharing lively discussion of contemporary theology
and progressive Christianity. Conversation centers around a
current book being read by class members. This class supports various
charities. The Discussion Class meets in Room 506. Contact Eleanor

FOUNDATION CLASS
The Foundation Class is a group of couples in their 30's to early 40's
geared toward getting back to the very foundations of our Christian and
Methodist roots. Studies are scripture-based and discussions are guaranteed
to be creative and lively! Join us as we look with new perspective on age-old
stories and ideas! Class also offers many social/fellowship activities
outside of class time as well. The Foundation Class meets in Room

GENESIS NETWORK
A “30-40’s Something” singles and couples group, raising their families
and exploring issues of faith and life. This is a class-led, discussion-based
group that studies biblical curriculum paired with life application.
Genesis Network provides meals to Room in the Inn. Class gatherings
include dinner outings, group functions, cookouts, and Girls/Guys Night

G.I.F.T. - GROWING IN FAITH TOGETHER
Especially for young singles, persons newly married and those just
starting their families. Growing in Faith Together meets in Room

GOOD NEWS
Cottage size group Bible study that welcomes all ages. The Good
News class meets in the Library, Room 401. The class supports Disaster
Relief, local missions, and other ministries. We have an annual Christmas

MINERVA HARRELL
Women studying the International Lesson Series “Adult Bible Studies”.
The Minerva Harrell Class supports Martin Methodist College, the Rutherford
County Food Bank, and also provides an annual scholarship for a local ministerial
student. They have bi-monthly business luncheons and enjoy an annual
Christmas party with spouses. The Minerva Harrell Class meets in

MIXED BLESSINGS
Couples and singles of mixed denominational backgrounds building Christian
faith and discipleship through study of the Bible and topics of faith,
from medical ethics to the apostle Paul. Mixed Blessings participates
in and supports various missions including the Domestic Violence Center,
Habitat for Humanity, Room in the Inn, and the adoption of families at
the holidays. The class enjoys family picnics, an annual Christmas
party, and other social gatherings through the year. Mixed Blessings

NEW HORIZONS
Singles and couples exploring faith and the Bible, marriage and parenting
in discussion. New Horizons adopts a family at Christmas and supports
Room in the Inn. The class enjoys a number of social events, including
a summer family picnic and annual Christmas party. New Horizons meets

PATHFINDERS
Adults of all ages seeking God’s message for daily living through study
of the Bible and supportive curriculum. The Pathfinders support the
MTSU Wesley Foundation with a monthly donation, a quarterly donation to
Good Shepherd’s Children's Home, and also adopt a family from the community
during the Christmas season. Supports Room in the Inn a few times

SPARES AND PAIRS
Biblical topics, current issues, contemporary religious books and other
religions are openly discussed in an informal, relaxed, caring atmosphere.
The class is comprised of friendly, eclectic, opinionated, fun, healthy
and supportive people with a wonderful mixture of life experiences that
adds a richness and sincerity to the discussion. Spares and Pairs meets

WOMAN TO WOMAN
Join us as we study the scriptures, share our faith openly, discuss
issues important to our lives today, and support one another on the path
of Christian discipleship. Woman to Woman is led by Claudia Hunter and

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Should a severe weather event occur that inhibits the ministry of the
church throughout the week, the standard policy for cancellation rests
upon the decision made by the Murfreesboro City Schools. Should this
school system choose to cancel school activities, ministries at St. Mark's
will also be canceled on that day. Members are encouraged to check
home page of the church website for specific cancellations - www.stmarkstn.org.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT TOGETHER (September through May)
A variety of long-tern and short-term groups and study options are
provided each Wednesday, 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. for adult fellowship, learning
and spiritual growth.

A Writer’s Roundtable: Calling all writers and wannabees
of memoirs, children’s books, the Great American Novel or grocery lists!
Bounce ideas, review your progress or just get passed your current ‘block.’
Final Words – a Lenten Study. A study of Adam Hamilton’s
examination of Christ’s dying hours and his final words as seen and heard
through the eyes and ears of those who stood near the cross.

age and to stay positive about life!
Christian Meditation. In today's high-speed world,
it is easy to feel stressed, overworked, and emotionally drained. The practice
of Christian Meditation can help you find peace, joy, and focus in the
midst of a busy modern life.
Living Sacramentally, Walking Justly Explore
the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion as they relate to our call
to Christian discipleship, using biblical imagery and journaling as tools
of discovering our place in the family of God.
FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY is offered on an intermittent basis

PRAYER MEETING Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. Prayer for the needs of

DISCIPLE BIBLE STUDY
An intensive and transforming study of Scripture, covering 70% of the
Bible. Classes of twelve begin each Fall and continue for 34 weeks. Rev.

OLDER ADULT MINISTRIES TEAM
Hosts a variety of activities and excursions for older persons in our

LEISURE MINISTRIES
Offers a golf league and tournaments, softball teams, basketball, volleyball

ST. MARK'S MIXING BOWL
Provides an opportunity for members and friends to get to know each
other through conversation or over a shared meal. Groups of 10-16 people
meet casually for meals four times per year. New groups are formed each
year. Registration necessary.

A wide variety of short-term and ongoing small groups and studies meet
throughout the year, offering opportunities for friendship and study.
