St. Marks enjoys one of the most active older adult ministries in the
South. Extensive ministries provided to and by older adults include:
Day Trips
Spiritual Retreats
Homebound ministries
Birthday card ministry
May and December bags delivered to Caring List
Flowers from Sunday Worship delivered to shut-ins
Adventures in Learning
Health based ministries
Singing to residents of Long-Term Care/Rehab facilities
Quarterly luncheons providing fellowship and varied programs
Recently adopted the Adopt-A-Grandparent program
Quarterly dinner meal served at the Fisher House at the VA
