Methodists have always recognized the importance of planning for the
future while also thankfully recognizing that God has the last word on
all plans!
When I first arrived at St. Mark’s four years ago, the congregation
was in the process of designing and adding a new sanctuary that was completed
the fall of 2012. Our new bishop, Bill McAlilly was here to consecrate
the building the first Sunday of Advent. It has truly been a blessing.
In addition to the sanctuary we were able to convert our former worship
space into a gym and muli-purpose space. We also added new
Sunday School rooms. Now our focus is on developing our identity
as a mission oriented church committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ
as we worship and serve God together.
We hope you will consider joining us as we serve God and our community
and world in joyful anticipation of God’s power and presence at work in
